Brazos Biomedical is a medical device company developing devices for the Pain Management markets. The Company’s lead product candidate is Auracis™, a device that is worn on the head utilizing transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS) technology to treat migraine headache. TENS technology has been used safely for more than twenty years in treatments for muscle, joint, or bone problems that occur with illnesses such as osteoarthritis or fibromyalgia, or for conditions such as low back pain, neck pain, tendinitis, or bursitis.

Brazos Biomedical is employing TENS technology in a unique, patented way to treat headaches. A prototype device has been produced and design and controls are being refined to make Auracis™ suitable for clinical use.
